A 79-year-old semi-truck driver was killed in a crash on Highway 169 north of Mankato Thursday afternoon.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened shortly before 2:30 p.m. on northbound Highway 169, between West Lind Court and U.S. Highway 14.
According to the crash report, a northbound pickup truck struck the semi driver while he was standing outside his truck.
The semi driver was from Lester Prairie. His name has not yet been released.
The pickup driver was not injured.
The State Patrol says additional information is expected Friday.
